The Ontario-Jiangsu Nanotechnology Innovation Center (NIC) is a joint initiative between NanoOntario Inc (CANADA) and Nanopolis (CHINA). The NIC offers Ontario and Chinese companies and researchers a hub to meet, collaborate and commercialize innovations.
Nano Ontario is a not-for-profit organization that represents the interests of academic, government, industrial, and finance members in the development of nanotechnologies in Ontario. Nano Ontario works to raise the profile, increase the research, build the investment and drive economic returns from nanotechnology in the province and across Canada.
Nanopolis Suzhou Co., Ltd. integrates extensive industrial functions such as “innovation R&D, engineering pilot, small-scale production, achievement transformation, patent operation, industrial service, corporate office, conference and exhibition, general supporting facilities” to provide multi-level services to nanotechnology innovators.
The NIC is located in Nanopolis Suzhou. Nanopolis Suzhou is currently the world’s largest hub of nanotech innovation and commercialization with a floorage of 100 acres and a planned construction area of 1.5 million m2. Besides,it’s also the China International Nanotech Innovation Cluster and the core area of the National Nano Hi-tech Industry Base.
